British Airways Great Britons Competition Opens
Looking for individuals who demonstrate the values associated with Olympic and Paralympic Games and who strive to be the best, whether their passion is in sport, music, fashion, performing arts, art and design, innovation, or community. It is open to all UK residents 16 years and above who need support to develop their talent in any field. Filmmakers can add up to 3 music clips, 1 piece of video footage, 5 images and 1 block of text. First Aberdeen City and Shire Film Festival

Royal Television Society Student Awards 2010

Archives and Auteurs - Filmmakers and their Archives

A conference to provide new perspectives and insights into the history of cinema. Panels will look at collaboration and authorship, Ingmar Bergman's archival legacy, the cinema authorship of Lindsay Anderson, the role of the producer, the transition from script to screen.
There will a major exhibition of material from the University's Lindsay Anderson Archive and panels on archival issues reporting on current projects and examining the challenges of creating and collecting film archives.
